MEDIUMS from across the south west joined Melksham Spiritualist Church for two days of 45th anniversary celebrations earlier this month.

Events included workshops, private sittings, healing and a mediumship extravaganza with experts from Cornwall, Bristol, Stoke on Trent and Bournemouth on hand.

A spokesman for the church committee said: "The whole weekend was uplifting due to the high calibre of mediumship, the spirituality of the mediums present and the many people who attended.

"All the volunteers helped make the committee's job easier and the amount of donations received ensured the occasion was successful. We would like to thank everyone for their contribution which was greatly appreciated."

Two divine services and an open forum on spiritualism rounded off events. An information centre and bookstall enabled people attending to expand their knowledge of spiritualism.
