A WILD west show, dog teams and magic wowed the crowds at Seend's annual village fete on Saturday.
In a record year up to 2,000 people enjoyed the fun, raising over £5,000 for the upkeep of the Lye recreation field and the village pavilion.
The Westerners Show Team proved a hit with their recreations of scenes from the old West and the Bassett Allsorts dog team demonstrated a high-speed game called flyball.
Children were kept amused by Punch and Judy and Snuffy's Magic Show as well as a range of games.
Larkrise Community Farm gave youngsters the chance to get 'hands on' with different animals.
Running alongside the fete was the annual flower show, which is now in its 55th year and took place at the Seend Social Club, next door to the recreation field.
It was the last fete organised by the committee under the chairmanship of Colin Waldek, who is now retiring.
