THE search is on for Wiltshire's most enterprising individuals, who are in with a chance of winning a new Queen's Award.
The scheme will reward both enterprising individuals and those who encourage innovation in others by mentoring or networking.
Up to 10 Queen's Awards for Enterprise Promotion will be presented and there will also be a lifetime achievement award.
Lord Lieutenant of Wiltshire, Sir Maurice Johnston, the Queen's representative in the county, said: "This award is for those who inspire others the go-ahead people who champion initiatives such as innovative business start-ups, inspirational training schemes, and enterprising activities among young people or disadvantaged communities.
"It is for entrepreneurs who can be role models for others, an award that gives Britain a chance to celebrate commercial success, just as we celebrate success in other fields such as sport or films."
Nominations, from colleagues, associates or beneficiaries, must be received by midnight on October 31. Forms are available from www.queensaward.org.uk or 0207 222 2277.
