THE council is proposing to install nine skateboard ramps to be situated at Linden Place, Trowbridge, which is at the bottom end of the original Stallard Street flower show field.
The residents of Bradford Road have already had to accept a drug rehabilitation hostel at 67 Bradford Road to accommodate approximately six people.
The ramps will be approximately 150 yards away from this hostel, making it a fertile prospect for drug pushers both on site at the hostel and also the ramp site.
Bradford Road was forced to accept the hostel by "Two-Jags" Prescott and the council so if these ramps go ahead we shall need another hostel in the near future and this one could be near you!
I am under the impression that the right hand and the left at the council do not know what each other are doing and should be awarded a long overdue accolade, "a sandwich short of a picnic," somewhat similar to a government health warning!
