BOWYER'S night shift worker David Francis had his sentencing for affray postponed after he slept through an appointment with the probation service.
Francis, 25, of Charles Street, Trowbridge, works at the factory between 10pm and 6am.
On Tuesday his defence solicitor Michael Wills told Chippenham magistrates: "His appointment was on August 11 at 9.30am. He woke up at 9am, but fell back to sleep until 10am."
Francis' sentencing was adjourned until September 14 and magistrates asked for him to be given a replacement appointment in the afternoon.
