BIGGER and better is the aim for organisers of the 2004 Studley Green fun day being held in Trowbridge next week.
A bumper crop of entertainment has been lined up for the event at Studley Green community centre on August 28, including singers, community bingo and fun workshops.
Paul Ivory, pastor of AGAPE Community Church and one of the event's organisers, said: "There has been tremendous involvement by the various organisations that operate in the estate, but more importantly a big involvement of local residents in the shape of Studley Green Tenants and Residents Association and the community centre committee."
Performers from the Starry Eyes talent group and majorettes will attend, along with the sports roadshow, police, fire brigade and army.
New this year is an area called The Marketplace with stalls and information. Other attractions include refreshments, a children's soft play area, arts and crafts workshops, quad bikes, barbecue, and family community bingo in the afternoon.
There are still a few stalls free, call Rose Parsons on (01225) 769187.
