CIRENCESTER'S dream start in the Southern Premier Division has every chance of continuing tomorrow when the Centurions visit the league's early whipping boys Hemel Hempstead.
The former Ryman League club lost their opening fixture 5-0 at Solihull and were then beaten at home by Chesham on Tuesday.
Ciren have adjusted to the new surroundings in altogether more impressive fashion, with a 2-0 home win over Histon followed by a very creditable 2-2 draw at much-fancied Tiverton.
That result was even more impressive given the fact that Brian Hughes' men trailed 2-0 with less than 20 minutes to go.
But a fine strike from Scott Griffin and a late leveller from super-sub Nick Stanley rescued a point to give Ciren plenty of confidence ahead of their trip to Hemel.
Hughes still has fitness concerns over striker Gareth Hopkins (back) and defender Darren Robison (calf), both of whom missed the midweek trek to Devon.
Deputies Jody Bevan and Alan Bird prepare to stand in again.
Nick McCabe and Andy Minturn are also sidelined with long-term injuries.
