A NEW leaflet produced by Wiltshire Wildlife Trust shows how energy wasted at home affects the climate.
The leaflet, called Save Energy, Save Wildlife, highlights 12 actions which should be taken to save energy and cut fuel bills, and make Wiltshire a greener place to live.
The trust's energy projects manager Jo Badham said: "How often have you soaked in the beauty of a bluebell wood in spring?
"Yet this wonderful experience may disappear because seasonal changes caused by climate change mean that trees are coming into leaf earlier, which blocks the growth of these fabulous flowers."
The guide offers simple tips to make a difference, such as switching computers off, fitting low energy lightbulbs, and only boiling as much water as you need.
