ASPIRING bubble blowers are being urged to come forward and put their talents to the test in Britain's first bubble blowing contest.
More than 200 heats are being held throughout the country so that the nation's best bubble blowers can be found.
Heats are being held in Swindon on Saturday, September 11, from 11am until 4pm at Woolworths, in Regent Street.
Youngsters aged between six and 12 are invited to take part.
They will compete to blow the biggest bubble and will only be allowed three pieces of gum throughout the day.
Dubble Bubble gum will be used and by the end of the day, five finalists from Swindon will go through to the national final, which is to be held in October.
The overall winner will pocket £3,000 and will also be able to donate £3,000 to a charity of their choice.
In America the Dubble Bubble contest has been running for five years
The reigning champion last year claimed the crown with a 35cm bubble.
