SWINDON Lions Club is looking for more members as the group has found a new home at the De Vere Hotel.
During the last year, club members have raised £10,000 through collections for Marie Curie, Children in Need, quiz or race nights, a stall at the Old Town festival and their well-known Father Christmas float.
The 25-strong group is keen to help other local organisations and people.
It has assisted with the Women's Refuge family outing to the Cotswold Farm Park, taking elderly people on a tour including a cream tea and helping at an athletics meeting for people with disabilities.
The club provides funds for voluntary or community groups if they need to buy a specific items such as equipment to support disabled people.
Lions members meet twice a month on Monday evenings.
For more information about joining or to ask for help with a fundraising event call Steve Austin on 01793 524712 or Helen Marson on 01793 751429.
