Ref. 71832-84 Karl Reynolds jumps for joyA-LEVEL RESULTS: ST JOSEPH'S School had a 100 per cent A level pass rate this year.
Not one of the 55 students failed an exam, with 62 per cent of passes being grades A to C.
Louise Bucknell, 18, of Grange Park gained two As in history and geography and a B in media studies. She will now read geography at Plymouth.
She said: "It was more or less what I was predicted.
"I worked really hard to get my grades and it makes me really angry when people say A levels are easier now than 20 years ago."
Her friend Anna Upton of Wootton Bassett, achieved an A in geography and two Bs in maths and biology.
The 18-year-old, who is going to study biology at Liverpool University, said: "It has been a long summer waiting for the results.
"I am looking forward to the freedom of university."
Twins David and Maurice Hendry won't be separated when they fly the nest for university.
The 18-year-olds both gained a seat at Portsmouth University and will even be staying in the same hall of residence.
They will even be doing the same subject business studies.
David said: "We didn't plan it like this, it just happened but that's great."
Deputy headteacher Maureen Harries said: "We are very pleased with the results."
