TWO shoe retailers from Swindon were sent to Las Vegas on an all-expenses paid trip organised by a footwear company.
Mark Blaylock and Steven Howe from R Blaylock and Son in Old Town were invited to the glittering Nevada city by shoe firm Hotter Comfort Concept as a way of promoting its wares. They were among 80 shoe retailers from all over Britain on the trip.
As well as staying in the legendary Caesar's Palace Hotel, they attended a Rod Stewart concert, had a boat trip on Lake Mead and were treated to top-class dining and entertainment.
Hotter managing director Stewart Houlgrave said: "I am delighted that Mark and Steven were able to join us on this trip. They have an excellent shop in Swindon.
"They offer a first class service to customers, taking care and attention with each sale and bringing customers back time and time again."
In order to win places on what the shoe manufacturer billed as the trip of a lifetime, individual retailers had to meet sales targets set for them by Hotter.
