SEA cadets in Wootton Bassett will really be pushing the boat out next month to celebrate their silver jubilee.
To mark the occasion, the unit is planning a special parade on September 19.
And it's hoped that sailors from the nuclear submarine HMS Turbulent, to which the unit is affiliated, will also take part in the celebration.
More than 100 cadets will march along Borough Fields and the High Street to St Bartholomew's Church at 2pm.
They will be joined by other cadets from the Army Cadet Force and the Air Training Corps.
After the church service, the parade will return by the same route. When they pass the post office, the salute will be taken by The Lord Lieutenant of Wiltshire, Lieu Gen Sir Maurice Johnston.
He will be accompanied by Coun Susan Cooksley, the town mayor.
