CORSHAM surprisingly lost their derby with Devizes in the Screwfix Premier Division.
A resolute rearguard action from Mark Godley's team saw them come away from Southbank with a 2-1 win their first victory of the season.
Devizes' David Lloyd had an early goal ruled out for a foul on new Corsham keeper Mark Batters but Nick Mooney soon fired the visitors ahead via a post.
Kevin Bush doubled the advantage with a header on 41 minutes only for Alan Griffin to reduce arrears before the break. The hosts dominated in the second half but were unable to break down a determined Devizes defence.
Melksham were beaten 1-0 at home by Bridport courtesy of Nick Stavery's 87th-minute goal.
Calne continue to set the pace in the First Division after another convincing win at Bremhill View. Wellington were thumped 5-0 by Kelvin Highmore's high flyers, with Glen Armstrong and Kevin Banks both scoring twice.
Biddestone are still searching for their first points after a 4-0 defeat at Willand Rovers.
