A TEENAGER from Swindon and another man were remanded in custody charg-ed in connection with the drive-by shooting of a 13-year-old boy.
Simon Roberts, 18, of Banwell Avenue, Park North, and David Johnson, 20, of no fixed abode, are accused of wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm after Craig Claridge was hit by a shotgun blast in Didcot, Oxfordshire, on Thursday night.
Johnson is also charged with being in possession of a firearm enabling another person to endanger life. Roberts is additionally charged with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life. The pair, both labourers, appeared at Oxford Magistrates Court on Saturday where they were remanded to appear at Crown Court on August 27.
The alleged incident took place in Edinburgh Drive, Didcot, just after 10.30pm.
The victim of the shooting is in a stable condition in hospital.
