REGARDING the letter in Tuesday's Advertiser by Kevin Legg, I agree about the whingers in the town.
A typical example was the proposed sports village at Sparcells which, at the end of the day, was just an old landfill site with a few hundred trees planted on it.
Yes it probably had an abundance of wildlife with deer and great crested newts, but that is where the houses are built now.
Which makes me ask this question: Are certain residents of Sparcells:
a) All tree hugging people?
b) Care for the environment that much, even when taking their kids 200 yards down the road to school in their 4x4 vehicles?
c) Just hypocritical and selfish?
