DEVON'S pursuit of the Minor Counties Western Division title was halted by
the weather rather than Wiltshire yesterday.
Resuming on 190-2 after some heavy rain, Devon eventually declared n 330-7 with Wiltshire's Kevin Nash taking three wickets for 102.
Wiltshire were 19-0 in their second innings adding to their paltry 103 first innings total when play finished for the day.
Devon will be crowned champions if they close out the match today.
Gloucestershire could be without James Averis for the Frizzell County Championship Division One match against Northamptonshire at Wantage Road.
The seamer is struggling with a slight hamstring problem and his participation will depend on the results of a late fitness test.
