Ref. 1942Families flocked to enjoy attractions at Broad Town Village Show at the Manor Farm show ground on Sunday.
A falconry display, dog agility show and a cavalcade of military vehicles, chiefly from the Second World War era, drew crowds of spectators.
A horse show and gymkhana, and a fun dog show proved popular, and there were crafts, charity stalls, sideshows and refreshments including a barbecue manned by Wootton Bassett Rotarians.
Cricklade Band and the Broad Town Belle fairground organ provided musical entertainment.
Entries in the flower and produce show were well up on last year and it featured many attractive exhibits,
Seven-year-old Georgia Baker and 11-year-old Sophie Mattick were thrilled to be joint winners of the WI Children's Shield, when they scored ten points each in the children's classes.
Show chairman Malcolm Holland said: "It's been a good day and we're grateful to everyone for their support.
"We won't know the financial result for some time, but it looks encouraging."
