A LETTINGS firm has expanded into premises of its own for the first time.

Julie Bailey bought the franchise for Belvoir Lettings three-and-a-half years ago and since then has been running it from the Ambrose House business centre in Milton Road.

Now the branch has 120 homes in its portfolio, the time was considered right to move into self-contained offices.

Mrs Bailey said: "I've worked for 15 years in lettings and having bought the franchise this is the logical next step.

"We've been waiting for a property to become free on Commercial Road there are a couple of other places in Swindon that are good for letting such as Old Town but we really wanted to be down here.

"We were very lucky to get this one it's been totally renovated and has gone from being a rather tatty building to a smart one."

Julie runs the business with her husband Martyn, who is the property manager, and their son Dale, 21, has just joined.

Belvoir Lettings has about 100 branches around the country.
