FIVE workers from a Swindon construction firm are looking forward to rising through the building ranks after completing an NVQ.
The five, from EW Beard in Dorcan, have completed Level 5 NVQs in construction contracts management the equivalent to a postgraduate diploma.
The NVQ assessment was carried out by Lance Saunders of CASL Management Training, who said: "The candidates worked hard as individuals but also supported each other to reach their goal.
"It was a pleasure to see them grow in confidence and stature as they progressed through the award and reached the high standards necessary for a professional manager."
The five David Averies, Paul Bridgman, Gavin Cox, Rob Eaton and Martin Evans worked over a period of one year using evidence from their commercial activities to prove they meet the standards required for this award.
All candidates are now eligible to apply for corporate membership of the Chartered Institute of Building.
