GHOST hunter David Wood has a house plagued by a mischievous poltergeist to investigate.
A householder from Wroughton contacted David following his appeal for haunted houses in the Advertiser.
He said: "The householder says things keep falling off shelves for no reason and areas of the house suddenly go cold.
"People have seen shadowy figures going up the stairs
"The person who contacted us was not that bothered but he said other people in the household were scared by it."
David, of the South West Paranormal Investigators, has always wanted to capture evidence of a poltergeist.
"This will be our first proper hunt, and I'm very excited about it," he said
"It would be great if we could film items flying around."
David, a 23-year-old student from Winifred Street, Old Town, and his colleagues are planning to spend a night in the house. They hope a battery of digital cameras and camcorders will capture evidence of the paranormal.
David is a sceptic but is fascinated by the supernatural. He wants to capture scientifically verifiable evidence of spirits.
The group wants to set up their equipment in haunted houses in Swindon.
