Ref. 71889-12BRIDE-TO-BE Louisa Curtis will look extra dazzling when she walks down the aisle on Saturday thanks to a special homemade tiara.
Her friend, Tracey Heard, made it especially for the Evening Advertiser's Bride Of The Year.
But friends and family of the 32-year-old will have to wait until the big day to catch a glimpse.
Louisa will wed fianc Michael, 36, at St Mark's Church.
The thrilled bride-to-be said: "I think it's lovely what Tracey has done for me. She is a real friend.
"I haven't known her that long, but she has been a friend of Michael's family for years.
"It's a beautiful design. She said she wanted to give me something special to wear on the big day."
Tracey, 35, who only recently turned her hand to jewellery making, said it was her most challenging project yet.
And she told how she borrowed her husband, Paul's, soldering iron to do the delicate work.
She said: "Louisa knew exactly what she wanted. It was very delicate work."
See the Evening Advertiser on Monday for pictures of Louisa and Michael's big day.
