Organisers of the annual Cricklade Show, which takes place on Bank Holiday Monday, are hoping the rain will stay away.
Chairwoman of the show committee Jo Howse said organisers had ploughed extra effort and funding into attracting bigger crowds to the show and are praying the weather doesn't drive people away.
Mrs Howse said: "It really is a worry with the weather. We've been down to the site to check it out. Bad weather just makes everything more difficult. People are less likely to come out and see the show if it's pouring down with rain."
This year's show in Purton Road will include a tug of war between the town's football and rugby clubs, show jumping, a fun fair, carriage driving, dog agility sessions and much more.
Entrance costs £3 for adults, £1 for children and senior citizens. Parking is free.
