ST Lucian right back Rene Regis says that Chippenham lost their aggression against Rugby United on Saturday.

Chippenham could only muster a draw and at times in the game looked unfocused. During the second half they lost the ball in the middle of the park on several occasions and did not look the same team that beat Dunstable 6-0 or Solihull 2-1 last week.

Regis, who joined the attack on several occasions, was not happy with his or the team's performance. He thinks they lacked the edge that they had in their previous games.

He said: "I'm very disappointed that we played badly. We lacked that aggression that we have showed in our other games."

Against Solihull, Chippenham let an early one goal lead slip, and then showed character to score the winner. Regis thought that on a different day Chippenham would have come away the victors.

He said: "After their goal we failed to bounce back like we did against Solihull. Rugby were not all that. We were again solid at the back as the Thorne Brothers did well in the air. But we lacked in preparation and concentration.

"We do play well as a unit but will have to get better. We have to keep concentrating to get back that aggression."
