HUSBAND and wife David and Jacqui Henshaw from Swindon are in the running for a national business award.
Mr Henshaw, 42, and his wife, 43, who will soon operate three National Schoolwear Centres, are one of 11 finalists in the British Franchise Association's franchisee of the year award.
Three years ago the couple opened their first National Schoolwear franchise in Swindon. Now, they have a turnover of £500,000 and a £1million projection by the end of next year when their plans to open stores in Newbury and Basingstoke are completed.
But the couple will have to wait until October to find out if they have won the £5,000 top prize.
