RELEGATED Devizes pulled put an impressive performance to grab their third win of the season.
Having been put into bat Devizes lost Will Muse early on but Paul Stobbart and Jake McCauley began to build a promising partnership before Stobbart was dismissed.
Devizes scored slowly but kept wickets in hand and were able to bat around McCauley who made another half century, finishing with 66.
Tim Saye provided the acceleration in the latter part of the innings with a typically aggressive 43 and the tail all contributed a few runs to pull the score up to 172.
Devizes got off to the best possible start, Saye dismissing S Bail and G Morgan inside the first eight overs.
Weston were unable to break the shackles of some tight Devizes bowling and a succession of wickets fell as the run rate increased past 5 per over with ten overs remaining. Ashford-Brown returned to claim two wickets, finishing with 2-30 from 13 and Vooght picked up 3-43 off 14 overs.
A final wicket partnership of 23 increased the tension but Mark Banham struck the final blow to leave Devizes winners by 25 runs.
