13858/1LOVERS of pizza in the Devizes area have been assured they will not miss out when Tino and Geraldine Pupili leave the Elm Tree Inn in High Street in the New Year.
For the last eight years, diners have been able to enjoy a tasty slice of Hawaiian or Pepperoni along with their pint of Wadworth's ale.
But the couple have announced their intentions of quitting the pub to spend more time with family.
Mr Pupili said: "Our son Mark is in his last year of a PhD at Bristol University and our daughter Lucia is in her last year at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. We want to have the time to go and see them."
Mr Pupili has been trading in the town for the last 22 years and says he has no intentions of quitting completely. He and Mrs Pupili are negotiating the lease of other premises.
