St Mary's Church, CrickladeA CRICKLADE church opens its doors next month as part of the national Heritage Open Day scheme.
St Mary's Church is likely to be of particular interest to historians and genealogists when it is open on September 11.
Parish records, going back more than 300 years, are being dusted off and transferred to computer, and visitors will be able to view the church's historical treasures.
The programme is funded and supported by English Heritage, who expect about 800,000 visitors to participate in the activities over the weekend of September 10 to 13.
St Mary's Church will be open between 10am and 6pm.
