ROB Fidler has signed a one-year extension to his contract with Bath Rugby, a deal which will see the second row remain at the Recreation Ground until the end of the 2005-06 season.
Fidler, who joined Bath last summer from Gloucester, made a significant impact in his debut season, making 26 appearances for the Zurich Premiership finalists, and playing a key role during a season where the club was without the services of Steve Borthwick and Danny Grewcock for large periods due to international duty.
Such was his impact both on and off the field that he received the 'Clubman of the Year' accolade at the club's annual awards dinner in May.
