GAZETTE & HERALD: BRIAN Poole is still awaiting the results of an investigation which will decide whether he will go back to his post as centre manager at the Emery Gate shopping centre.
Mr Poole was suspended from his job on full pay in early June amid rumours of financial irregularities.
At the beginning of July Mr Poole confirmed that he had been contacted by the centre's then management company DTZ and told not to go into the office until the investigation was completed.
He added that his suspension was unexpected and that he was disappointed.
Eight weeks on he said he has still received no word from new Bristol-based management agents Workman & Partners, on the exact substance of the allegations.
"I still don't know what is happening," he said. "All I can do is wait."
Traders at the shopping centre also said they were still in the dark as to what Mr Poole has been accused of and whether he would return to manage the precinct.
Emery Gate was opened in 1986 and is owned by property developers Lone Eagle.
