WESTBURY motorcyclist Nigel Yelland has been banned from driving after being clocked at more than 100mph on the A36.
Yelland, 36, of Shire Way, Westbury, was caught on a safety camera doing 101mph on his Suzuki in the 60mph zone between Crockerton and Heytesbury on May 2.
The offence saw him net a driving ban, £220 fine and £35 costs when he appeared before magistrates in Devizes earlier this month.
On the same day, in the same court, Chitterne motorist Salah Matti received six points on his licence for driving his Peugeot 306 at 71mph in a 40mph zone.
Matti, 41, of Back Lane, Chitterne, was also fined £200 and ordered to pay £35 costs for the offence at the A303 Folly Bottom roadworks.
He was joined in court by 30-year-old Trowbridge driver Neil Evans, who was clocked at 68mph in his Fiat Bravo on the same stretch.
Evans, of Middle Lane, Trowbridge, was fined £240, ordered to pay £35 costs and received six points on his licence.
