Following the latest round of matches in the Stroud and Swindon-sponsored Swindon and District Four Rink Bowls League, Cricklade have regained top spot in Division One, writes RAY BURROUGHS.
They lead Rodbourne Cheney by two points who have three games in hand and look to be the favourites for the title.
Cricklade defeated Shrivenham 85-69 and Stratton Churchways A 82-66 picking up 21 points from the two matches.
Rodbourne Cheney had a scare against bottom club Town Gardens eventually winning by just two shots 73-71.
Westlecot A continue to dominate proceedings in Division Two but second placed Stratton Churchways B must be favourite to land the poll position trailing by 12 points with four matches in hand.
In the top-of-the-table clash, Churchways beat the leaders 95-61 with rink wins from Arthur Baker 27-15 over John Nicholas and C Hudson who beat Dennis Coombs 27-14.
