Swindon Businesswomen's Breakfast Club gives out the Make It Happen awards each year to help women achieve their dreams.
This year Kim Jenkins, of Stratton, who works in the adult placement department of Swindon Council's social services and Julie Card, from Ash Brake, who runs Chocoholics party services and is a volunteer with the National Childbirth Trust, have shared the award. Kim, 46, is going to embark on an Open University course for social care and Julie, 30, is to train as an antenatal teacher.
