28582/2THE owner of a £10,000 caravan destroyed in a fire at a Trowbridge farm is putting up a reward for help in catching the culprits.
The 34-year-old owner believes the fire, at Greenhill Farm in Southwick, on Thursday night, which completely destroyed his 33ft-caravan along with £2,000 worth of belongings, was started deliberately.
Fire crews from Trowbridge, Westbury, Bradford on Avon and Warminster attended the blaze to stop the fire spreading to other farm buildings.
Speaking about the fire, the owner, who wishes to remain anonymous, said he used the static caravan as a temporary home when out on contracting jobs installing motorway fences.
"I know it was arson but I have not got a clue why my caravan was chosen," he said.
"I use it to stay in when I am away on jobs so it had everything in it like a double bed, TV and video player.
"If anyone saw anything suspicious I would like them to help out and am offering a reward for information."
