15717/1WET weather may have been to blame for another crash at an accident blackspot on the A350 at Trowbridge.
A Trowbridge man was taken to the Royal United Hospital, in Bath, with facial injuries on Tuesday afternoon, after his Peugeot 106 collided with a jack-knifed lorry.
The seven-and-a-half ton Mitsubishi lorry, from Cheltenham, skidded on the wet roads close to Stoney Gutter crossroads.
Police and paramedics were called to the crash scene at 12.18pm following reports of a collision.
Officers believe the lorry was driving towards Westbury when it lost control and jack-knifed into the opposite carriageway, hitting the Peugeot as it travelled towards Melksham.
