JO Osorio of Age Concern Swindon will be reporting on another successful year at the organisation's annual meeting next month.
Mr Osorio, pictured right, and his 20-strong team have a budget of more than £400,000 a year. Each week, the organisation helps around 500 older people, and there are currently more than 200 volunteers on the books.
During the meeting, to be held on September 24 at the Pilgrim Centre in Regent Circus, speaker Lorna Easter-brook will deliver a speech on the Mental Capacity Bill.
Introduced into the House of Commons on June 17, it aims to enable millions of people to plan ahead for a time when they may lose capacity.
