Ref. 71912-33THESE youngsters had a great time hanging around at the Richard Jefferies adventure playground yesterday.
They joined scores of other children on the free summer playscheme.
And by the smiles on their faces they were determined to make the most of the last few days of the school holiday.
Besides rope swings, there were Jenga games, arts and crafts, a bouncy castle and even a giant Connect 4.
The scheme is open from 11am to 3pm weekdays to children in the Eldene, Parks and Walcot areas of Swindon.

Another idea for parents wanting to keep their children occupied until the start of the new term is a trip to Butt's Farm, near Cirencester. The farm is ideal for all ages and children are even allowed to bottle feed some of the animals.
Opening times are 11am to 5pm. Call 01285 862205 for more details.
