SWINDON Multiple Sclerosis sufferers have a chance to find out about hyperbaric treatment next week.
Sufferers of the condition will be meeting at BSS House in Cheney Manor on Friday to mark 21 years of the oxygen-based treatment in the town.
David Hughes, one of the first to benefit from the treatment in the town 21 years ago, said: "Hyperbaric treatment is not a cure for MS but it has helped to my quality of life."
"We welcome anyone who wants to come along and find out more about it."
More familiar for treating scuba divers to stop them from getting the bends, hyperbaric treatment lets patients breath pure oxygen under increased air pressure, which can bring some relief from MS symptoms.
