THE Cotswold Canals Trust, which was part of a winning bid for £11.3 million in Heritage Lottery funding, is looking for volunteers to help it expand.
The organisation is working to restore the 35 miles of canals and wants to promote the use of towpaths as part of the Thames and Severn Way, taking in the Cotswold Water Park.
As a result it needs a team of enthusiasts to do everything from organising working parties to liaising with the press.
A new post has also been created for an internet sales manager to handle emailed orders.
An important role will be that of the exhibitions manager, who will have to create display material for shows in local libraries and the trust's new marquee.
Someone who doesn't mind getting their hands dirty is needed to organise work camps for the Waterway Recovery Group, which undertakes restoration work and keeps the canals free from choking weeds.
And other volunteers are needed to make sure the organisation's press cuttings are kept up to date and help run its boat the Inglesham.
