WORKERS at Swindon Council's Enterprise Works will be rewarded with certificates in literacy and numeracy today.
Thirty-one staff, who have a variety of disabilities, successfully completed the 15-week course.
Free2learn provided funding for the basic skills programme and Swindon College provided the training.
To celebrate the staff's achievement, a presentation ceremony in conjunction with Free2learn and Swindon College, is being held at the Enterprise Works.
Justin Tomlinson, the borough council's lead member for Swindon Services, said: "Employees at Enterprise Works should be very proud of their achievements."
John Short, the director of Swindon Services, said: "Enterprise Works has shown its worth within this council and this is another success for the department."
