AN INCREASING number of people say they are being forced out of work at retirement age.
Age Concern Swindon is urging pensioners who may have suffered a similar problem to come forward .
Jo Osorio, director of Age Concern Swindon, said: "We know there are examples of this happening in the town.
"If you were forced out of your job because you had reached the mandatory retirement age but didn't want to leave then we want to hear from you.
"Age Concern England would like you to be part of its campaign to persuade the Government to scrap mandatory retirement ages."
At the moment, the mandatory retirement ages stand at 65 for men and 60 for women.
If you have been pushed out of your job, call Julie Read on 0208 765 7511 or email readj@ace.org.uk or contact Jo Osorio on 01793 692166.
