71968A CONVERTED milking parlour was the stage for a circus skills spectacular over the bank holiday weekend.
More than 60 people learned a range of tricks including juggling and unicycling under the guidance of tutors at Lower Shaw Farm, West Swindon.
The activities culminated in a circus show on Sunday night where participants showed off their new skills to an audience of family and friends.
Matt Holland, who runs the three-acre smallholding with his family, said he was impressed with the number of teenagers taking part.
"All ages from four to 64 were juggling," he said. "But what I found most interesting was the amount of teenagers joining in.
"You wouldn't think they would want to spend the whole bank holiday weekend doing something like this."
It was the 12th year the circus skills workshop had been held and Mr Holland said it was the best yet.
"We had families from Swindon, Kent, Manchester, Oxford and London," he said. "It just gets bigger and better."
Animals are still kept at the smallholding but since the Holland family moved in, there has been a change of focus.
"We have diversified," said Mr Holland. "We farm people now."
