I WRITE in response to Julian Baldry who responded to my previous letter regarding illegal parking and speeders. Did Mr Baldry read my letter completely, or does he just miss the point?

He claims I ended my letter with an anti-motorist rant, I'm hardly that as I own two cars.

He seems to say providing pedestrians stay out of the way then speeding is OK. How does he work that out? A few years ago a group of children were stood at the side of Akers Way in Moredon and a speeding motorist took away their lives.

He also states that the roads are paid for by motorists through road tax, rightly so, I am one of them and I am quite happy for the police to continue using speed cameras, as these speeding motorists also take out cyclists and other motorists.

Illegal parking is as bad as speeding, with cars blocking slip roads or parked on corners cutting down the visual range of other drivers.

Mr Baldry, is your letter a case of sour grapes, have you got a few points on your licence? Oh dear.
