CHRISTIAN Roberts was due at the County Ground this morning to finalise his move from Bristol City to Town.
The Ashton Gate striker, 24, was expected to complete the formalities on his switch, which is worth a total of £50,000.
If, as expected, Welshman Roberts puts pen to paper, Town fans can look forward to him launching a new frontline partnership with 'Super' Sammy Parkin.
And former Chelsea striker Parkin (pictured) has joined Rory Fallon in giving his blessing to the move.
"Christian's a quality player and I'm sure he'll be a good addition to the club,'' said Parkin
"Sometimes we lack a little bit of pace and he will be a different outlet for us."
Parkin, meanwhile, has dismissed speculation linking him with a move to Championship side Sheffield United.
