GARDEN centre chain Blooms, which has an outlet in sites in Wroughton, has said the terrible August weather gave it dampened first half sales.
It said the average amount spent by customers was down, although pre-tax profits rose from £206,000 to £1.2 million because several smaller sites were sold off.
