Once again it was cup day at Ferndale School, with the North Wilts & District Youth & Minors League's under 10s taking centre stage last weekend.
In a round of incredibly close matches with just one game seeing a winning margin of more than two goals cup holders and previously unbeaten Wootton Bassett Town were surprisingly knocked out in the first round.
In a very close and tense contest against Marlborough Town, the game was still goalless after extra time.
It was Marlborough who held their nerve in the penalty shoot-out to win 3-2.
Their reward is a match against Ferndale Rodbourne, who were 3-1 winners over Highworth Town B, thanks to Liam Gallagher (2) and Jack Allan.
Josh Head netted Highworth's consolation goal.
Penalties were again needed in the match between Coleshill Juniors and Cirencester Town.
Once again neither side could find the net in open play and Cirencester won the shoot-out 4-3 to go through and face Lydiard Youth A, the only team to win by any margin on the day.
Lydiard hit seven without reply against Marlborough Town Youth B, Kieran Butler the star of the show with four goals.
Mitchell Coombes netted twice and Santino Carelli the seventh.
Both Greenmeadow sides are through to the last 16.
The A side were 3-1 winners over Liden Community, Jack Townsend (2) and Daniel Dicks for Greenmeadow, Timothy Ogu for Liden.
The B team were 2-0 winners over Cricklade Youth A, Thomas Swindall and Connor Waldon their scorers. The A side will meet Lydiard Youth B in the next round, and the B side will meet Westbrook B, who were 1-0 winners over Fairford, Jake Roffey with the all-important goal.
Lydiard Youth B won the last game of the day against Stratton Juniors.
In another tight affair, a solitary first-half goal from Joshua Hillier was all that separated the two sides.
Stratton pushed hard but just couldn't find that elusive equaliser.
Another club with two sides in the last 16 are Swindon Soccer Skills.
The A side opened the day's proceedings with a 2-1 win over Purton, thanks to a Tom Alder strike and an own goal.
The B side won by a similar score against Eastville Boys.
In an excellent game goals from Sean Murnane and Eddie Gibson edged it for the Soccer Skills, Scott Price replying.
The A side will meet Malmesbury in the next round, following Malmesbury's 1-0 success over high- flying Siddington Youth, Charlie Donaldson netting the only goal of the game.
The B side will meet Old Town United in the next round after a 2-1 win over Westbrook A, Cameron Baden and Conor Thompson netting for Old Town, Chris Middlecoate for Westbrook.
Robins are also through to the next round after a 2-0 win over Blunsdon Colts, Daniel Fishlock and Liam Moor getting the goals.
They will meet up with Uffington United in the next round after their 2-1 win over Highworth Juniors, for whom Michael Pritchard scored the consolation goal.
The final tie of the round saw Highworth Town A defeat Stratton Youth 2-0, Jack Peddar and Mani Roper doing the damage.
They will meet Croft Juniors A in the next round after Croft were given a bye following the withdrawal of Eastville Boys B from the league.
