Supermarine continued their winning South West One form with a 15-7 success over Taunton Ladies at South Marston.
The first half saw Supermaine unable to produce their normal strong running rugby, enabling Taunton to look the better side.
And the first try of the game came from Taunton's centre which was converted.
Fortunately, Supermaine upped the pace in the second half, with excellent rucking by the forwards which provided a platform for the backs to run in three tries.
Centre Heidi Jelleyman touched down, fly-half Rachael Scholes and winger Lucy Strong, with her first try for the club, also touching down.
Supermarine have a break this weeked and are away to Southampton Trojans the following Sunday.
n CHIPPENHAM Ladies opened their league campaign with a 42-5 thrashing of Ivel Barbarians.
The Wiltshire side trailed to an early try before getting into their stride.
Harriett Crockett sliced her way through the defence on two occasions and both tries were converted by skipper Sam Morgan.
After the break, the points piled up as Crockett took her personal tally to five and Jai Cunningham grabbed another.
All of the second half tries were converted by Morgan, who slotted two from the touchline.
