Leaders Brunel Boys visited Cricklade and ran out comfortable 7-0 winners in the under 14 division to move six points clear at the top.

On target were Lee Dart (2), Karl Ecceston, Mike Cox, captain Louie Dee, Gavin Lloyd and Scott Barnes.

Ashton Keynes beat Wroughton 5-1 with Bunt netting for the visitors.

And at Malmesbury Dan Mustoe scored the only goal for Tetbury in their 6-1 defeat.

Purton defeated Gunners Boys 4-1 in the under 16 section, in a game that was played in very windy conditions.

It was Purton who opened the scoring through Tom Cadden, and it was 2-0 soon after when defender Dan Atkins looped the ball into the top corner.

Tom Cadden, in free-scoring mood, netted his second and Purton's third when he was played in by Alex Pethick.

Gunners pulled a goal back soon after when Purton, with a defender down injured, failed to clear the ball, but Cadden completed the scoring.

Highworth also ran out winners, by a 6-2 margin, in their under 16 game at Northleach.

After the early exchanges the Highworth midfield began to take control and they eventually took the lead in the 16th minute when Jamie Glock pounced after a Ryan King free-kick was parried.

Alex Parker made it 2-0 soon after, again set up by King, and that's how the score stayed at half-time.

Early into the second half and the visitors went three up when substitute Lorien Bardwell headed home.

Northleach pulled one back eight minutes later, but James Penny restored Highworth's advantage soon after, and then Stephen Ware netted from the spot.

At the other end, stand-in keeper Martin Watson produced some good work after coming on for the injured Luke Adams, but he could do little to prevent Northleach grabbing a second consolation.
