GARY Stovall scored twice as Liden FC moved to the top of the Swindon & District League with a 4-0 win over Lower Stratton.

Kevin Priest and Danny Wiseman bagged the others as Liden reached the summit.

South Marston seized victory in a goals-packed encounter against Manor. Craig Evenden scored a hat-trick for South Marston, the other two coming from Simon Kemp.

Manor's goals came from Nick Truchon and Grant Songhurst.

Windmill were in fine form against Zurich, taking the points in a 4-1 victory. Richard Martin and Jason Thompson both scored a brace for Windmill, while Craig Alexander netted for Zurich.

Wroughton were up against Southbrook but were unable to secure a win, Southbrook claiming the spoils 3-1 as James Toomey replied for Wroughton.

Queensfield edged County Ground 4-3, with an own goal and strikes from Gerry Ellis, Tony Smith and Peter Smith giving them victory.

Martin Littlechild (2) and Seth Palmer were the scorers for County Ground.

In Division One, Walcot had an impressive win over a struggling Rodbourne Reserves outfit.

Ashley Williams scored five goals as Walcot won 7-1, Lee Bailey and Lee Francombe with the others.

Ramsbury managed a 7-3 victory over AFC Abbey, hat-tricks from Jeremy Martin and Jason Lequilcher and a Nick Woodward strike seeing them home. Abbey's replies came from Matt Blick, Alan Kembrey and Carl Edwards.

Queenstown's Rene Jepson fired in a hat-trick against Green Baize in a 4-0 win.

Also impressive winners were Shield & Dagger, who struck nine goals against Gangsters, for whom Darryl Elliot responded.

Trailers lost 2-1 to Westlecott Reserves game finishing 2-1 despite Lee Hedges' goal, while Down Ampney came out on top 3-0 against Merlin.

Swindon Asians saw off Spectrum 5-3, Sav Granati scoring a hat-trick with the others from Raul Amin and Raj Randhawa.
