ENTRIES have now closed for this year's Dorset Business Awards and judging is under way. The judges include leading business figures and professional advisers who will draw up a shortlist of finalists in each of the four categories.
Shortlisted candidates will give a brief presentation to a panel and the finalists will be invited to the awards dinner in Bournemouth on December 9, when the winners will be announced.
The four awards are KPMG company of the year, Lester Aldridge business person of the year, Dorset Business, the Chamber of Commerce & Industry international award, sponsored by Business Link Wessex, and the Institute of Directors' innovation award, sponsored by Bournemouth University.
Kelvyn Derrick, deputy chairman of IoD Wessex, said: "It is evident that many Dorset businesses are aiming high as the quality of the completed entry forms has been excellent.
"We are looking forward to judging the most dynamic businesses in Dorset."
